"Metaphysical Messages"

In Metaphysical Science we look for, study and seek to understand the mystical and deeper understanding of scriptures as well as the symbolism, signs and messages from God and the Universe. The literal aspects of things only barely scratch the surface.

When designing my website and logo for MMM I wanted to capture the essence and Spirit of the nature of Metaphysics.

For example on my site I used a stained glass window from a church to create that serene feeling of wonder, awe and glory for God that you get when inside a magnificent cathedral. It represents the window to the soul. If it is dark outside and you have an inner light, your true beauty will shine from within. Windows also can mean opportunities that open up for spiritual growth. Windows also let light inside. Jesus, the Way Shower, is known as "The Light of the world". The path to enlightenment also includes light. We say "walk in the light", "shine your light" and "be light". When your spirit is full of peace and love, then it is full of light!

MMM's logo is a pyramid. It represents your spiritual house and foundation. It is a five sided structure rising to an apex. Our bodies are the temple of God, just as nature outside is also God's temple. The pyramid has the 7 corresponding colors of the chakras (energy centers of the body) down the sides. The chakras and their colors have qualities and significance. The ascension to the top of the pyramid represents the path to enlightenment.

Chakras are used in holistic health to bring healing, balance and harmony to the energies of the body and mind. At the top of the pyramid is the color violet correlating to the crown chakra, which is also the color behind the cross. The crown chakra means spirituality, knowledge, fulfillment and consciousness or "I understand".

The golden Egyptian cross is also known as an ankh. The cross is an ancient symbol meaning transformation, renewal of spirit and mind, forgiveness, rebirth and eternal life. The cross is golden since enlightenment is the most valuable thing people can attain.

In addition, the chakra colors are also a rainbow. Rainbows symbolize hope, diversity and inclusion. In New Thought we include all of God's children. There are no "others". Instead we see our Oneness with everyone and everything. Real peace and love doesn't divide or separate. It is Unity.

The following quotes from the Bible are about parables, which are stories with hidden or symbolic meanings:

"This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

- Matthew 13:35

"Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given."

- Matthew 13:10-11

"And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables."

- Mark 4:11

"And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand."

- Luke 8:10

The lotus is a flower blossom with spiritual symbolism from Egyptology, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Each of these has a slightly different meaning, yet the lotus represents spiritual awakening, purity, potential, rebirth, creation, and eternity.

Therefore we can see the importance of looking below the surface at the true meaning and not taking things at face value or literally. Symbolism is found in most religions and is an important way to convey spiritual ideas and truths. In seeking this truth we walk on the path of light to bring more peace and love into the world.
